Everyone hears about new methods and new products for easier and faster orthodontic treatment.
It never seems like any of these are as useful or as easy as described. However, our product
presented here comes pretty close.
Total orthodontic treatment can be substantially reduced since deep impinging overbites can be
routinely opened to ideal in about three months. Lower braces can be placed ideally at the
first bonding visit since you don't need to worry about the maxillary teeth shearing off brackets.
Many orthodontists will soon be using incisor blocks after they see how much easier treatment is
made.
The removable incisal positioning cap makes insertion of the blocks extremely easy and fast.
Safety is also one of our concerns. Some manufactured bite opening blocks are constructed of metal.
It is our belief that it is far safer for debonding and less traumatic to the lower incisors to
have the blocks constructed out of a hard wear acrylic and not metal. We do however
incorporate a metal radio-opaque marker within the acrylic. Also, since our blocks are custom
made for each tooth and each bite, the blocks will fit perfectly the first time.
Patients rarely complain about having them on their teeth and actually like them better than
needing to wear a removable biteplate.
